RouteHub overview
RouteHub is City Clean's route-accounting system (the replacement for Alliant). The
left sidebar groups every screen by area; this Help panel shows a guide for whatever
page you're on, and the Ask AI tab answers "how do I…" questions from these guides.
The end-to-end flow
- Set up the catalog & customers — products and prices, tax, then accounts,
customers, and their locations and contracts.
- Schedule the work — routes (with a default driver/vehicle), then service
schedules per location/product. The nightly generator turns schedules into dated
occurrences.
- Dispatch — route days are built from the schedule into sequenced stops for a
crew (
Route Days (Dispatch)).
- Capture in the field — the driver app syncs what happened; the office reviews
it under Field Ops (sync batches, service transactions, exceptions).
- Bill — preview and post invoices from billable service transactions, move them
through the approval lifecycle, then record payments and any credit memos /
write-offs under Receivables.
- Parallel run — during the Alliant cut-over, the Alliant Comparison page
diffs a RouteHub invoice preview against Alliant's actual invoice, by SKU.
Common tasks
- Find a screen: use the grouped sidebar on the left.
- Get help for the current screen: open this panel (the Guide tab).
- Ask a question: switch to Ask AI and type, e.g. "how do I post an invoice?".
Tips
- Most screens are gated by your role's permissions — if a page or action is hidden,
you may not have access.
- The AI assistant only knows what's in these guides; it gives instructions, it can't
click buttons or change data for you.
